Darkling, the third book in the series, is told from Menolly's point of view. She's the youngest sister, an acrobat turned Vampire, and owns the Wayfarer Bar & Grill. Menolly has inner-demons to contend with, but manages to deal with them in an admirable way. I love her kick-ass attitude and deep loyalty to who she really is and her family.

Darkling brings another mystery, more danger, some extremely hot romantic elements, answers to some of the questions raised in previous books, and non-stop action. The sister's go up against Dredge, the vampire who turned Menolly against her will. They also have to deal with the on-going threat of the demon, Shadow Wing and his minions. Several key characters return and new intriguing characters are introduced.

Ms. Galenorn does an amazing job at telling each book from a different sister's point of view while still managing to include them all in each story. She advances each separate plot-line while also advancing the whole. Very intricate and impressive story-weaving and world-building IMO.  I Love This Series!
